With high economic and gourmet culinary values, classy salted luxurious delicacy, those are on my mind the immediate definitions of the black caviar. Red and black caviars share the same nutrients. I will have a spoon of a nice quality caviar at any time, even at midnight, thank you! Produced by harvesting the roe of sturgeon fish, then it’s made into caviar. Because of their slow growth and maturing, and of course due to the caviar, this makes several varieties of sturgeons fish the most valuable and expensive delicasy fish.
“I love caviar and could eat it any hour of the day or night, but since the sturgeon is becoming increasingly rare in the wild, it may be that unless we take steps to protect it there’ll only be farmed caviar in the future, which would be a pity.” by Maria

If the sturgeon really is critically endangered, as you say, might you consider NOT eating ‘a spoon of a nice quality caviar anytime, even at midnight, thank you’? You write, with apparent calmness, ‘caviar will be even more valuable on the market’. And after that, there won’t be any caviar. At all. I don’t understand how you can write about the looming extinction of the sturgeon, and others can read it, and then everybody just blanks what they’ve read and goes right on planning to eat the eggs of the fish…?

Hello, this is regarding the caviar,
I agree with you absolutely! It sounds terribly.
I suppose I wanted to describe that I love caviar (cannot have it often anyway only very rarely on my spoon, usually mainly on sushi), but was worried that the fish could be gone for good one day, therefore farming the fish is a good idea, as it would let the natural fish in plentiful numbers. Thank you very much for pointing it out. My apology, do you see what I meant?
I will fix it on the page of course, it is not logical. If you are in the trade, if you like, suggest to me what would be appropriate to add on the page. I have to think of how to write it, English is not my first language, can you help me with the wording, any advice if you may?
Thank you,
Rado
from Maria:
Hi
Your gentle response has disarmed me somewhat!
I too love this kind of food, but I’m very concerned about dwindling fish stocks. Fish farms are a kind of solution, but not a perfect one: as I understand it they bring problems of their own (lice infestations, intensive pollution) and they are also very cruel if the fish are migratory ones like salmon, which struggle to escape from the farm and follow their migration route. We need good natural supplies of fish for the overall ecology of the sea, rather than fish farms and a dead marine environment.
I’m not in the trade and I can’t even remember how I got to your site (you know how it is on the internet) but your English is pretty good. I didn’t realise you weren’t a native speaker. Can I suggest something like, ‘I love caviar and could eat it any hour of the day or night, but since the sturgeon is becoming increasingly rare in the wild, it may be that unless we take steps to protect it there’ll only be farmed caviar in the future, which would be a pity.’
If you don’t like this suggestion, don’t worry. I’m not a troll, I won’t be coming back to persecute you!
Best wishes
