Whole, raw and fresh, chicken eggs were used for making this calculator (whole eggs but with no shell, egg shell was removed.) Otherwise on average one egg shell from one extra large chicken egg weighs 3 grams. To measure that, cleaned egg shells without egg residue on them were placed on accurate scales.

Of course that eggs contain cholesterol. All eggs small or large do have cholesterol in them. There’s nothing wrong with eating eggs, they do have very little fat and high energy, we just have to take everything in healthy balance, three eggs per week is normal. The TV program you described was probably payed for by some chook farmer or a group of farmers who are egg producers. Very detailed egg nutrition details, thank you! Me as well, I have noticed the level high cholesterol in eggs, high protein and not too much of lipids however. Eggs can be a part in a well balanced diet with neutralizing items like alkaline greens contra none acidic foods. I like to eat organic free range eggs, I enjoy theirs flavor and I feel good after I eat one or two at breakfast or at lunch.
